WHY CHOOSE MET?
In 1998, when we founded our company under the name MET Kft., we selected this name to create a meeting point between the demands of our customers and the translation, proofreading and language teaching services provided by us.
We ensure the best price-quality ratio for our customers - with no extra fees for urgent jobs - quickly and efficiently, always meeting deadlines and adjusting to the schedule of our clients.
In order to achieve this, we employ graduated language teachers and translators of general and professional texts whose professional commitment, dynamic approach and precise, timely work largely contribute to the success of our enterprise.
In our translator office, we translate accurately, keeping the original format of the texts. Before sending a translation to the customer, we compare it to the original (source) text by reading the two texts in parallel. Then we perform a quality control check with a CAT tool (computer-assisted translation software like Memoq or Trados), which is followed by a spell check. Finally, we read the translated text again to check its fluency and style.
We guarantee that the content and style of the translation prepared by us will fully comply with those of the original text.
We are also greatly helped by our highly developed technical devices, for example, our Memoq and Trados CAT tools, our own glossaries of words and expressions broken down by professions, such internationally acknowledged digital dictionaries like My Memory, Glosbe and Linguee, as well as by our digitalized teaching and language exam preparation materials, Skype, Viber, Facetime and Quizlet. We educate ourselves continuously by live and online conferences and courses.
We consider it our greatest acknowledgment that those who try our translation services usually become our regular customers. Once they have experienced that we prepare our translations with the utmost care and ensuring full confidentiality, they request us to translate their texts next time as well.
It is similarly important to us when our students successfully protect their doctoral thesis or pass their language exams or after being prepared by us for the job interview, they receive the desired position and they successfully do their job in English at the new workplace in Hungary or abroad.
Among others, we already 'have' a marketing director in the USA, and architect in Germany and another one in Switzerland, an economist in a top manager position in Switzerland, an anesthesiologist in Ireland, and we could easily get an appointment from our 'own' dentist in England if we suddenly needed it.
